An account of charges for baking the ammunition bread & supplying the garrison of St Philip's with wood & oil for fourteen days commencing the 15 and ending the 29 February 1712'John Fermer and P. Durand to Sir John Jennings on 15 June: their report on the fortification of Menorca, specifically St Philip's Castle, the fort of Fernelles and the demolition of the walls of Ciudadela. Dated at St Philip's Castle. Sir John Jennings to Dartmouth on 30 June: on his return to Port Mahon he found the garrison in want of subsistence. With money authorized by the earl of Barrymore, they now have three months provisions. Matters affecting the security of Menorca and Gibraltar. His fraught relations with 'the gentlemen appointed to examine the state of the war abroad'. He has landed the infantry in Barcelona and returned for the cavalry, who arrived that day.
