Description

Sir John Jennings to Dartmouth, enclosing a duplicate of his letter of four days ago. He sends a letter from the bey of Tunis in Italian delivered by Mr. Hudson whom he had sent there to buy corn. The Bey is uncertain whether he is at war or peace with Britain, but dislikes the French. Dated on board Blenheim at Port Mahon. No. 74
