Burdet complains that he was seised lawfully of the manor of Seckington until Stanley and Lisle came with others arrayed for war by the procurement of Richard Burdet, and by threats forced his tenants to pay their rents to them for Richard for fear of their lives and loss of their goods. The petitioner is not of such power to sue the course of the common law against those riotous people, and requests the king's letters of the privy seal severally to Stanley and Lisle commanding them to appear in person before the king and council at such time and place to be specified to answer these premises.
