[The plaint is damaged and is missing a portion from its left-hand side].Exchequer plaint of Grantham requesting [remedy] as he was put in Newgate in the custody of Lorimer by the false procurement of [...] he was mainprised by good men, and the sheriff commanded his [bill ] to Lorimer, but after he received this he detained [...] Wednesday in the week of Easter and the night following [...] to the wrong and against the peace and damages of the petitioner.
