- Shafteword requests remedy as he was falsely impleaded in the Marshalsea by Fitz Hugh and by the conspiracy of others and of the jury, and he was condemned for 100s and imprisoned until it was paid, Fitz Hugh claiming that the offence was committed in Bawtry but procuring its trial in Nottinghamshire. Shafteword requests that this be enquired of in this vill and by its neighbours.1)
