Nature of request
The parson requests that he can have the tithes of fish called 'Cristes Shar' which the abbot of Fecamp was accustomed to receive when he was parson of Rye, as the king's bailiff has wrongfully taken and withheld it. The petitioner complained by bill to parliament, and the warden of the Cinque Ports was repeatedly ordered to enquire of the matter, but will do nothing except by special order of the king.

Let the extent from the time of the exchange be viewed, and let the bailiff be called before the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer before whom the parson complained previously etc.
