Nature of request
Eyremyn requests letters to the constable and lieutenant of Carmarthen Castle to more firmly and safely keep Duy in the prison within the castle without allowing him to pass beyond the gates of the castle until he had made satisfaction to the petitioner. Eyremyn recovered a sum against Duy before Rede and his companions, justices and he was committed to prison in the custody of the constable until he had paid the sum, but is allowed to go at large at his pleasure against law since he has not paid the sum.1)

Bill of Michaelmas term, the third year of King Henry.2) Let letters be made directed to the chamberlain and constable of Carmarthen to retake Duy into prison until full payment is made to the petitioner.
