Nature of request
Eggecombe requests that the prince restore to him the fine for the goods and chattels of Flete that he paid to the prince. After the death of the earl of Huntingdon the manor of Calstock was seized into the prince's hand and Flete, a tenant there drowned in the River Tamar, and the petitioner paid the fine for the goods and chattels. Cornwall came and requested restoration of the manor, forfeiture and its issued to him and his wife in name of his wife and seized the goods and chattels into hand until the petitioner made a fine with him at his will.
