Nature of request
Prophete requests remedy as King Richard II granted the custody of the manor of Ansty to Arundel which was in the king's hand by the minority of Roger Deincourt but after the death of Arundel, Smart, by colour of his office that he had in the manor of Cheylesmore, entered the manor of Ansty and took all the profits against the will and to the damage of Arundel's wife, and he ignored many letters and writs sent to him to answer before king's council.
