The tenants request that they are granted letters and to command [...] to aid the tenants so that they are not troubled as they live by taking sand from the sea by the River Tamar, but certain men came and levied fines and ransoms by extortions without cause or due process of law whereby they are unable to pay the farm for their lands and tenements which is due to their lord.
