Hardewyk requests that letters are directed to Doily to enquire of the reason for the taking into the prince's hand of the land in Princes Risborough formerly of Maud Carter and that a remedy is ordained. One and a half acres of land are seized into the prince's hand in Risborough by his officers there because Thomas Carter, a neif tenant there married Maud, the daughter of a free man who was seised of the land, and after the death of Thomas Carter the land was seized into the prince's hand, and upon this Maud entered the land and alienated it, and because the land was seized [...] after the death of Thomas Carter, the land is now reseized.
