Nature of request
Doily requests that the prince and council demand by their letters to have the bodies and chattels of Huntercombe and the others at the castle of Wallingford in salvation of the prince's lordship and liberty. The prince has had jurisdiction in the honour of liberty so that no man indicted of trespass [...] could be taken except by the bailiff of the prince and they were moved to the castle of Wallingford, but recently the sheriff has entered the liberty and taken Huntercombe and the others indicted of felony within the liberty, and has removed them to Oxford gaol.
