[The petition is damaged on its right-hand side, though much of the sense is clear].The Batheleyes state that the prince granted by his letters of privy seal to Allington the keeping of the lands of [...] with his marriage, to hold the same until he came of full age, and Allington granted the same to his brother. And John died without heirs within age and the lands ought to descend to [...] and the issue of Robert, now within age, the which Robert the prince's officers have seized with the [...]. The petitioners request [...] and enjoy the lands according to the tenor of the prince's letters patent [...]
