Nature of request
[The petition is damaged on its right-hand side, though much of the sense is clear].Kendale requests [remedy] as the prince granted him letters directed to Giles for to suffer the petitioner to fish within the park of Liskeard without trouble or disturbance of the parker, he and his ancestors having had the fishery from the time of Crocherd, whose estate the petitioner has purchased from the late earl of Cornwall, as Giles will not allow him to fish. He requests that he is able to fish within the park in peace or that he is able to be rebated the value of the fishery, and that the prince's officers be charged to enquire of the true value of the fishery.1)
Nature of endorsement
Let the letters made at another time be viewed, and let the ministers enquire in the presence of the parker and supplicant and certify the council.2) He should have letters.
