Nature of request
Ore requests that he is granted letters to the mayor and sheriff of London that if they do not have any cause to hold him in prison that they deliver him immediately, and if they have sufficient cause upon him that he is able to be at the common law at the next delivery without him be kept in prison any longer. He has been in Newgate gaol for four years or more without cause, he being taken by Sharp at the command of Adam, the gaoler of Newgate, without warrant.
