Cokkesson, master of a ship called 'la Trinite' of West Lynn, and Roos, master of a ship called 'Seint Marie bote' of Lynn, request a writ ordering the mayor and bailiffs of Lynn to deliver to them all their obligations and sureties. After Drax arrested the petitioners' ships at Lynn for the King's voyage, they found surety by obligations made to the mayor and bailiffs of Lynn to have the ships ready for travel on a certain day, and freighted their ships with merchandises of various merchants to carry to London. Although a general proclamation was then made to arrest all ships previously arrested, the mayor and bailiffs will not return their obligations.
