Nature of request
Letters patent of the King that because it was found by inquisition that Burnell granted his manors, lands and advowsons in Shropshire and Staffordshire to various people, so that after his death they would remain to John Talbot, Lord Furnivalle, his son John Talbot, Katherine, Hugh's grandfather and the legal heirs of John Talbot the son and Katherine, and if they die without heirs to the lawful heirs of Hugh Burnell, the King pardons John, John and Katherine for their trespasses and grants them the said lands accordingly.
