Nature of request
Thomas le Forter requests remedy because although he should give only William's mortuary payment to the prior of Wenlock as parson of William's parish church of Wenlock, the prior has sued him in Court Christian for a third of all William's goods. The petitioner purchased a prohibition of Chancery against the prior, but the prior then purchased a modification to this prohibition.
