The master and brethren of St Thomas of Acre, who hold their chapter house of the Templars for a certain yearly rent, request the King's consent and confirmation of their unanimous decision to transfer themselves, their houses, lands and goods to the order of the Templars. The Pope is opposed and they are concerned about the reaction of prelates.
