Nature of request
Mortimer requests his right and that his suit that he brough by writ of right for two parts of the manor of Welton against Felice de Montgomery not be delayed as he brought the suit, but Felice caused a great assize to be held, but Anne Montgomery came and caused the matter to be delayed as she brought a writ that caused the justices to surcease because of a right she claimed in the same two manors.

It is considered by the council that the plea should remain until the heir, being in the king's hand, comes of age.
