- Malet requests remedy as Beufe has a writ of debt before the justices of the Bench against him as son and heir of his father and the pledges of his father in a debt that his father owed Beufe as the petitioner tried to pay Beufe the sum due with current money on the feast of St Andrew before Christmas which Beufe refused stating that he would receive no money except sterling because of which the petitioner is in great trouble for the levying of all the money.
