The petitioners request remedy concerning those craftsmen who are enemies of the realm, complaining that many people of mysteries such as fishmongers, butchers, drapers, cordwainers, innkeepers and all other craftsmen and regraters have conspired amongst themselves to forestall and other conspiracies by which goods that ought to come to the cities and towns are disturbed and bought to the damage of the king and the people in their purchasing.
