Nature of request
Certeseye requests remedy as he was bound to Norton in a certain sum by statute, and could not pay it at the term so that Norton was seised of the petitioner's lands and tenements, and Certeseye sold his land and tenements to Huntingfield and made another statute relating to this but Huntingfield has paid Norton, entered the land and does not wish to pay the petitioner and has had him imprisoned at Guildford until he makes an acquittance without paying him anything.

He should go before the justices before whom the writ of statute is returned and show his reasons, and they should hear him and do justice according to the form of the statute.
