- Hammerton requests remedy as he is not able to have remedy from the sheriff of Yorkshire because of the command made to the sheriff by Beauchamp. Hammerton is the executor of John de Hammerton who died of his wounds at the siege of Berwick and he granted him a horse valued at £20 for his alms which Beauchamp ordered the sheriff to take and it still remains in the hand of Beauchamp.
