- The petition is dated to c. 1300 as the petition seems to indicate that the abbot has been newly appointed, and Nicholas de Flore became abbot in 1300 and died in 1334. His predecessor had become abbot in 1270 (Heads of Religious Houses, II, pp. 436-7).
