Nature of request
Croft requests remedy as he bought the wardship and marriage of the son and heir of Sire in Great Staughton from Normanton and has sewn the winter crop, namely 40 acres of wheat, and the escheater came and ousted him from the custody and cut the oats, hay and stubble to the value of 10 marks which the petitioner had bought from the bishop of Lincoln.
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ of trespass against the escheator and others if he wishes.
