- The heirs request grace and that they can be restored to the £10 of land in Hautbois wrongly taken from their father by the queen's bailiffs so that they are not disinherited. Their father leased land in Scottow to the queen, but the bailiffs also took the land in Hautbois, and the queen devised the residue of her term to Berwick. After the term expired, Berwick delivered Scottow to the heirs, but Hautbois to the king.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to c. 1301 as it seems likely that the petition is closely dated to a close roll entry of 13 February 1301 and by the hand(CCR 1296-1302, pp. 425-6). The petitioners petitioned on the same matter considerably later in 1315 (Rot. Parl., vol. I, p. 312a (no. 94)).
