The petitioner requests remedy as he made a recognizance in £40 before the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer with Rudham, and he gave Rudham, in allowance of this debt, his church of Whichford which is worth 50 marks annually. Rudham took the fruits of the church for a year and a half but will not acquit the petitioner of this, and he sues the entire recognizance against him and has made to levy the sum of £14 from his goods and chattels.

He should obtain justice for himself by the common law if he wishes, and if he is not able to have [the sense of the remainder of the response is unclear].
