The petition is dated to c. 1295 to c. 1307 in part on the basis of the hand, but the petitioner seems to have been active between these dates, one particular close roll entry being related, and the petitioner appears to have been dead by 1307 (CCR 1296-1302, p. 1300; CPR 1307-13, p. 31).
