Barons of the Cinque Ports.

Nature of request
[Petition in three parts:]1) The barons show that they owe the service of [...] for fifteen days including the day that they leave their home but this is not now allowed and they request that they might be brought back in line with the service given in Domesday.2) They request that they be restored to their right estate which they and their ancestors had at Yarmouth during the fair, namely real jurisdiction and justice and all manner of jurisdictions before their own bailiffs, receiving all manner of plaintiffs, as they have been ousted by the king's bailiff.3) They request confirmation of there charters of the king's ancestors, namely that they ought not to be impleaded nor answer in any case or for any reason except at the court of Shipway.1)
