Nature of request
Privy seal writ of Edward II to the earl of Pembroke and others of the council at London stating that the petition of Roger is sent enclosed within the writ in which Roger complains of the trespasses and outrages done to him by Refham, Roger being in the king's service, and commanding that the petition be examined and that right is done to Roger in the best manner that Valence is able according to the law and usage of the realm.
