Nature of request
1) Copy of a charter of Roger de Hertford to Adam de Crokedayk granting him all his land in the vill of Little Paxton. To hold to him and his heirs freely, quietly, wholly and in peace from Hertford and his heirs. Rendering one pence at Christmas annually for secular services, customs and demands. Clause of warranty.2) Copy of a grant by Adam de Crokedayk to Alexander his son of all his land in Wrestlingworth called Shymleylond with all its appurtenances, and all the land that he had in Little Paxton, Eynesbury Hardwicke and Keyston. To hold to Alexander and the heirs of his body legitimately begotten freely, quietly and in peace. Rendering to Adam annually £13 6s 8d and doing the services thence owed and accustomed to the chief lord of that fee.
