[The petition is not entirely illegible, and the hand is not particularly clear].1) The petitioners request that the constable of Bordeaux be commanded to suffer [? them to be delivered] as they are in arrears for a bailiwick that they held in Gascony and the constable has imprisoned them [the remainder of the request seems to relate to the repayment of the debt].2) Escarlate requests that he can have the office of mayor of St Emilion.

It is attested by the council that he is not suitable to be bailiff.
