- [The document is badly damaged and is missing much of its upper half].Gailhard requests that the mayor [? of Bordeaux] be commanded to deliver certain prisoners to him, and not to hinder him in his prevote. He also complains of the expense of his office especially in the payment of robes to the clerk of Ombriere and 8 servants there, and he asks for respite and that it be ordained in such a way that he might hold his provote and the king's rights preserved.
