[The petition is damaged, and much of the lower half is illegible].Donmowe requests remedy as the late sheriff attached him and took him to Chelmsford and despite the holding of an inquisition did not wish to deliver him without the petitioner making a fine to him in twenty marks, the king being out of the country at that time.
