Abbot and convent of Jervaulx.

Nature of request
The abbot and convent request that they can have a market at East Witton each Monday, and a fair there for eight days in the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady, and for two days in the feast of St Martin in Winter.1)
Nature of endorsement
They should come and sue to the treasurer and make a fine.2) If they wish to have what they request they should pay £20 and the fee for the seal.
