Nature of request
Hastinges requests that right be done to him concerning the castle of Newcastle Emlyn after the year and a day's waste, as Meredudd held the castle and died his tenant and forfeited, but the king took the same into his hand because of the forfeiture though it was rightfully Hastinges's escheat.
