Nature of request
The commonalty request that the king make redress to them within the bishopric of Durham of grievances and disinheritances committed by the bishop of Durham within the bishopric, the bishop having failed to make redress following an earlier complaint at Rose Castle during the last parliament.
Nature of endorsement
The king is not able to answer the community of uncertain things, but if any of them wish to complain of certain things, the king will do justice.
