- The Earl Marshal requests that it is commanded that the records of the Exchequer are searched to see if the land that Verdon held in Holcot was held of the king in chief or not, and if not, that the keeping of them is restored to the earl as he was ousted by the escheator, since he and his ancestors have always had this keeping without disturbance.1)
