Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to c. 1326 as Norwich was made on of the English wool staples (Tout, T.F., The Place of the Reign of Edward II in English History, (Westport, Connecticut; 1976), p.235). The guard refs to this seem to be erroneous or refer to an earlier edition. The dating given on the guard is difficult to reconcile.
