Stratton requests grace and remedy and that his complaint concerning the arrest of his goods that were in the Priory of Holy Trinity, London by the treasurer and Leycestre be heard before the king and council.

Note
The petition is dated to c. 1290 as it makes mention of the soul of the queen and presumably refers to a time shortly after the death of Queen Eleanor (cf. SC 8/325/E698). However, the petition bears a response that is almost identical to another petition in this file which is dated to 1294, so that it is possible it could date to c. 1294 (SC 8/325/E695).
