- [Petition in three parts:]1) Burneby requests that the ordinance that he was sent to the king with by the seneschal of Guyenne, the royal council and the council of the city of Bordeaux be confirmed.2) It is requested that Mitford be sent to render his account in the Exchequer in London as used to be the case, and this ought to be done for various reasons.3) Burneby, Mitford and Sproteley request that it be ordered by letters patent that they be paid at the receipt of the castle of Bordeaux, as they are obliged in many sums as private persons for the acts and business of the king because of which they are damaged and arrested and put under sentence of Holy Church.1)
