[The petition has suffered damage along its right-hand side, so that the full sense is difficult to discern].Clifford requests that the king of his special grace and for £100 paid to him in his Chamber will pardon all manner of felonies, outlawries, misprisons and trespasses made by him, as he has been condemned by conspiracy in his county of Gloucestershire.

The petition is dated to? 1406 as the petitioner received a pardon of all felonies, trespasses and misprisons along with two other pardons on 14 December 1406 (CPR 1405-1408, p. 284). He was pardoned again on 14 February 1408, but this was specifically for an outlawry in Gloucestershire (CPR 1405-1408, p. 407).
