- Helewis de Bretevill, executor of her husband's testament, and the other executors request grace and remedy as her late husband was in the king's service and was his attorney in all pleas before Brabazon and his companions for the sum of £10 annually, and this is in arrears to the sum of £55 and the charges and debts of the testament cannot be made and paid without payment of the arrears.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- Although the surname is damaged, this would seem to be the widow of Richard de Bretevill, king's attorney to Edward I. The petition is speculatively dated to some point after c. 1295, on account of the reference to Roger de Brabazon, while Helewise appears to have died in 1304 (http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.asp?compid=5435).
