Nature of request
The Dean and Chapter of Lichfield request the revocation of the collation of Hanyngfeld to the church of Cannock. They state that it and Rugeley were granted to them by Richard I and confirmed by Henry III, but that Hanyngfeld had told the king that it was a prebend of Penkridge, ousted them of their possession and secured his own collation.
