Nature of request
John and Margaret de Sutton request the restoration of the manor of Bradfield, which they held by right of Margaret until they were disseised by Hugh le Despenser. The manor is now in the king's hands on the death of Despenser.
Nature of endorsement
Assign in Chancery people to enquire in the presence of the keeper of the manor concerning this disseisin, when, and by whom, and all other necessary circumstances touching this matter, and return the inquisition into Chancery to who the king.

Commissions of enquiry were issued into this matter in February and March 1327 (CIM 1307-49, pp.239-40), and orders to restore the petitioners were issued on 12 April 1327. Presumably presented to the parliament of January-March 1327.
