Nature of request
FitzHugh requests a writ to the justices of the King's Bench ordering them to proceed with their decision in the case between him and Clifford. FitzHugh caused to come into the King's Bench the record and process of an assize of novel disseisin passed against him in Westmorland at Clifford's suit by error. He has pleaded against these errors, but at Clifford's suit a writ of Chancery was issued to the justices not to redress the errors until a perambulation is made between the counties of Westmorland and Yorkshire, which may never be done.
