Richard, Earl of Arundel, and Veretot, by the King's commission farmers of the all the lands, tenements and possessions of Fecamp abbey in England, request that a writ be directed to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that if they find that Ranulphi and other farmers of the possessions of Fecamp were allowed £47 4s yearly for the manor of Bury in their farm of 500 marks, that the petitioners be allowed the same.

The petition dates to 1388-9 since it is addressed to the archbishop of York as chancellor, and with reference to CFR 1383-91, p. 57, p. 230 and p. 303, commitments of the possessions of Fécamp to the petitioners dated 1384, 1388 and 1389 respectively. Only the grant of 1384 excepts Bury.
