King.
Nature of request
Fouques de Saint Germen, son of Huguet de Saint Germen, and the brothers and sisters of Huguet de Saint Germen, state that the king's people in Gascony have seized their lands and goods, because Huguet was forfeit to the king. They have complained before the Seneschal of Perigord, by commission from the Seneschal of Gascony or his lieutenant, but that justice is delayed by default of the king's proctors in Perigord and Agenais. They ask that the Seneschal of Perigord might be ordered to do swift justice to them, and also that the proctors might be ordered to proceed swiftly in the case.
Nature of endorsement
The petition is to be sent to the Seneschal of Gascony under the great seal, and he is to be ordered to have full and swift justice done to them, according to the laws and customs of those parts, saving the king's right.

Note
