King.
Nature of request
Albert makes two requests:1) states that the king's father gave and confirmed to him the offices of comptroller of the mayoralty of Bordeaux and of scrivener of the prevote of the Ombriere of Bordeaux, as can be seen from his letters under the great seal. He asks that these offices might be confirmed, and that letters might be sent to the Seneschal of Gascony to pay him the arrears of the office of comptroller.2) He states that his pension as counsellor is in arrears, and ask that the Constable might be ordered to pay him the arrears, and to pay the pension for as long as it please the king.
Nature of endorsement
[On face, to first] With regard to the confirmation, coram rege. With regard to the payment of the arrears: this is for the Seneschal, calling the parties, to do justice.[To second] The Constable is to be ordered to pay him what is due to him for the time of the present king, like the others.[None on dorse]
